This is a preview, not the finished site.
The company needed a live page of its own today. This is it: published on the group's hosting that is already paid for, so it can be read, corrected and shown while the final site is built.
Five pages, and nothing that does not work.
- Five pages: home, services, the company, contact and this status page.
- English and Spanish, both written out in full. English opens first, and the switch is in the header of every page.
- No telephone numbers and no email addresses, because there is no channel yet that a person reads.
- No external dependencies: no content delivery network, no third-party fonts, no tracking. The pages are files served by the hosting, and they work with the network cut off.
- Responsive: measured in a real browser at 390 px and 1,024 px wide, with no sideways scroll.
What the final site still needs.
Nothing here is hidden behind a vague word: every item says what is being waited for.
Federal authority: USDOT and MC.
When the register shows a number, the services page shows it with the date it was granted.
The company mailbox.
An address that a person reads. Then the contact page shows it and a working form goes behind it.
The company telephone line.
A company line that answers, if the company decides to publish one. Today no number is published anywhere on this site.
The company street address.
The address in use, with its city, state and postal code, before it is printed.
Photographs of the real work.
The paperwork on the desk, the load being checked, a delivery confirmed. Not a stock photograph of somebody else's truck.
The company's own domain.
The final address, when it is set up. This preview address does not disappear; the name does not change.
Four things that are true right now.
- Search engines are told not to list this site: every page carries a noindex instruction.
- The strip at the top of every page says the same thing this page says.
- Nothing is sold, no price is quoted and no service is offered.
- This preview is published at no new cost, on hosting that is already paid for, and it can be taken down or corrected at any time.
This page describes the state of the site itself, not of the company's authority. For the authority, see the services page.
